OUR PEOPLE

Visionaries, innovators, educators, entrepreneurs and medical experts… the CHEK Clinic team is as diverse as it is effective.

GAVIN JENNINGS
CEO, Founder

With a varied career spanning 30 years and three industries, Gavin has spent the last 18+ years building a successful Holistic Health Clinic. He was the driving force behind the development of the CHEK Academy education system which sets out a clear career development path for CHEK Practitioners. He is also the Global CEO of CHEK Institute.

As the owner of Physiotherapy, Osteopathic and Chiropractic clinics, Gavin has seen first-hand the dysfunction of ‘traditional’ services offered by medical professionals and holistic health clinics. “Patient care has been sacrificed for patient numbers,” explains Gavin. “The experience in the NHS – and, sadly, even in private practice – is ‘quick in, quick out’ with a focus on the next patient or the next appointment.

“A GP appointment in the UK lasts an average of 6 minutes, whilst an NHS or physiotherapy appointment is around 20 minutes. Such strict time limits for assessing and treating patients are not sufficient to take into account the whole person and can never lead to them becoming fully functioning. Practitioners who work in this way can really only provide quick fixes. Our approach is designed to bring about fundamental change which leads to life-changing, long-lasting results.”

In his role as CEO of the world-renowned CHEK Institute, Gavin has met many Physiotherapists, Osteopaths and Personal trainers who have chosen to study the CHEK System of Holistic Health. In general, they are disillusioned with the standard, ‘reactive’ approach to treatment and seek the skills and knowledge that will enable them to swim against the tide and offer something more to patients.

The CHEK Clinic has evolved from Gavin’s own established, successful clinic. It provides a high level of holistic health assessment and coaching to people suffering with chronic dysfunction alongside services for qualified CHEK Professionals and their own clients or patients.

Gavin’s dream for CHEK Clinic over the next few years is to teach all CHEK Practitioners how to run such a clinic and give them the blueprint to build their own CHEK Clinics across the globe.
